Ace Turtle Expands Toys“R”Us® Presence with New Location in Dehradun

India’s top technology-native retailer, Ace Turtle, announced today the opening of the country’s fifth Toys”R”Us® location at the Mall of Dehradun in Uttarakhand. With a goal of opening 12 stores by 2024, this is a major milestone in Ace Turtle’s strategic plan to increase Toys”R”Us’s footprint in India. There are presently five Toys“R”Us® locations open around the nation: the flagship location in Mumbai, two retail locations in Bengaluru, and the retail store in Hyderabad, which served as the brand’s first location in India last year.

The new store, spanning 6,000 square feet and situated in the busy Mall of Dehradun, provides families and kids with a hassle-free toy shopping experience by being convenient and easily accessible. Alongside well-known Indian brands like Playshifu, Funskool, and Winmagic, the store stocks a wide assortment of leading international brands like LEGO, Hasbro, and Mattel. Youngsters of all ages may enjoy premium toy brands, snap pictures with Geoffrey the Giraffe, and discover the thrill of playing with interactive features throughout the store.

To get the Toys”R”Us® license in India, Ace Turtle and the Flipkart Group’s Wholesale Entity in India formed a joint venture in June 2021.Ace Turtle opened the first Toys”R”Us® retail store in India in Hyderabad in March 2023, and the crowd response has been incredible. India’s largest high-street toy store, Ace Turtle, opened its flagship Toys”R”Us® store on Linking Road in Mumbai in December 2023.
