Impersonation of Vertex Ventures SEA & India Managing Partner

We have been alerted to a scam involving the impersonation of a Vertex Ventures SEA & India Managing Partner.

The scammers would reach out to businesses using WhatsApp, fraudulently claiming to be "Chua Joo Hock" or "蔡裕福" and his personal assistant from Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India. The scammers would often enquire on construction/renovation related projects and might also present victims with fake documentation from Vertex Ventures.

This is a scam and is not associated with Vertex Holdings nor Vertex Ventures. Our employees conduct business over email using addresses ending with @vertexventures.com or @vertexholdings.com.

If you have been contacted by these scammers, you may wish to inform the relevant authorities as soon as possible.
