𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 VVSEAI 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺: Clarissa Kartika

We're excited to share our "𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 VVSEAI 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺" series to introduce the wonderful, multi-faceted talent we have in the Vertex Ventures SEA & India! For the month of September, we would like to introduce our colleague Clarissa Kartika based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

1. What did you do before Vertex and what did you study?

I studied Accounting and Finance at the University of Melbourne and worked in the investment team at Mandiri Capital Indonesia - the VC investment arm of one of the largest SOEs in Indonesia.

2. What is one thing you most enjoy about working at Vertex?

I enjoy the learning, exposure, and colleagues at Vertex. Working alongside seasoned partners and founders in the vibrant Southeast Asian startup ecosystem has been an invaluable experience for my growth.

3. Tell us something we didn't know that you do outside of work.

Outside of work, I like to play with my dogs (bichons and beagles) and I love to travel. Exploring new destinations and immersing myself in different cultures is a passion of mine.
