Grace KONG

Grace Kong joined in 2024 and is based in Singapore.

 

Prior to joining Vertex, Grace spent 7 years in public policy development across government agencies. Most recently, Grace was an Assistant Director at Ministry of Manpower (MOM), where she led major reviews on Employment Pass policy, shaping foreign workforce composition to serve business needs and national priorities. Prior to MOM, she was a Health Policy Analyst at Ministry of Health (MOH), developing healthcare financing policies to allocate government healthcare subsidies, enhance primary care coverage and build digital healthcare infrastructure. She was also a Development Partner at Enterprise Singapore, where she supported healthcare service companies to grow and venture abroad.

 

Grace holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Columbia University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from Northwestern University in the USA. 

 

Outside of work, Grace enjoys playing the piano, playing tennis, and taking Korean language classes. She also enjoys watching plays and musicals, and travelling to new countries.
