Himanshu JAIN

Himanshu Jain joined Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India in 2022 and is based in Bengaluru, India.

Prior to joining Vertex, Himanshu was an Engagement Manager with McKinsey & Company in India. He worked on strategy, operations improvement, transformation, and due diligence projects. Towards the later part of the tenure, he focused mainly on Digital and Analytics transformation projects across sectors such as Chemicals and Agriculture, metals, tech, and media. Himanshu also led Digital and Analytics summits conducted annually by McKinsey India, overseeing participation from 100+ CEOs and CXOs across various industries.

Himanshu holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, where he graduated with Institute Rank 2 and was placed in Institute honor’s roll and Director’s merit list. He also holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.

During his free time, Himanshu reads, writes, and sketches. An avid Liverpool Football Club fan, he is always up for playing or watching football. Having backpacked across almost all countries/states in Europe and US, he is now planning to explore Asia and Africa next.
